Natasha Malkova entered the industry in 2012 at twenty-one, signing under the alias Jade Couture before settling into the name she would carry through the rest of her career. Born and raised in Sacramento, she brought a particular kind of unforced naturalism to her work — the sort that reads clearly on camera and is considerably harder to manufacture than it looks.
Her early output with Mofos and Reality Kings established her range quickly. Where many performers find a single register and stay there, she moved between tones — the warmth required for couples-focused work, the precision required for solo features — without the seams showing.
The middle years of her career saw her work broaden considerably. Babes and Twistys brought a visual polish to her catalogue, while Girlsway and New Sensations gave her space in longer-form narrative work. Brazzers and Hustler followed, rounding out a studio list that reads less like a résumé than a tour of the decade's most significant production houses.
She retired in 2018 after six years and over seventy scenes. The catalogue she left behind holds up. The lighting has dated in places; the performances have not.
