Mia Li came up in an era when a Queens zip code and a camera connection were enough to get started. She began performing in 2011 and built her reputation the slow way — scene by scene, studio by studio, without a breakout moment so much as an accumulation of them.
Her work spans a wide range of productions, from budget shoots to polished studio releases, and she has shown a particular ease on camera that takes most performers years to develop. Mile High remains among the more notable labels in her recent output, with new material appearing as recently as 2025.
She has performed under several aliases over the years — Mai Li, Pauline Popsicle, Mia Little — each a minor variation that tracks the different phases of a career longer than most of her peers have managed. The throughline is a composed, unhurried screen presence that reads differently depending on the production around her.
Now based out of the New York area, she continues to perform actively, which puts her in rare company for someone approaching fifteen years in the industry.
