She was born in Detroit and grew up in Northern California, the kind of coastal California that is close enough to Los Angeles to make the industry feel possible. Before adult film she was working as an extra on mainstream sets — television, films — which gives her trajectory a different shape than most. She attended Cal State LA. She entered the industry as a young adult and spent a decade working, eventually moving into directing and producing as well as performing. She died at her home in Sun Valley in the spring following her retirement. She was thirty-one. Stormy Daniels, who directed her final film, called her an excellent actress and performer.
